The Program Coordinator will devote 100% of his/her time to this project to coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information to assist in implementing the Quick Response Team (QRT) in utilizing the QRT grant. The
Program Coordinator will develop a CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) team for first-responders facing the “compassion fatigue”, as it relates to the growing opioid epidemic. Thus, recognizing that the human, medical, and financial resources of these responding agencies have been stretched to their limits. The Program Coordinator will oversee the entire project, engage stakeholders and coordinate data collection and analysis with external research partners in order to monitor and evaluate the progress of the project and report in a timely manner to the Boone
County Health Department, Advisory Board, or whomever necessary. The Program Coordinator will also help to form and help train the QRT Members with respect to naloxone administration, SBIRT implementation, and CPR.
